Περιγραφή: Sentido Apollo Palace 4 stars (all inclusive) in Messongi, Corfu, is looking for candidates of various
specialties to join its team for the season of 2023:

**Service Manager **
In order to be successful in this role you have to work as a liaison between the management, the food
and beverage team, and the guests. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, positive
attitude, strong F&B background, and problem-solving skills.

Your main responsibilities
Train, develop, and supervise the F&B team.
Managing and participating in daily food and beverage operations of the main restaurant, a la carte
restaurant, and three pool bars, including night-time events.
Runs efficiently and profitably all outlets.
Following food and safety regulations, HACCP etc.
Working efficiently with our storage department for purchasing products.
Working harmoniously with the Ex.Chef to achieve results in line with company objectives.
Work with staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper food handling procedures.
Orders - receives and manages all F&B products.
Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
Checking in on guests to enquire about food quality and service.
Able to anticipate any unexpected guest need and react promptly and tactfully.
Ensures that the F&B outlets are always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back
of house areas.
Work with colleagues and managers to ensure the department achieves its full potential.
Evaluate and assign responsibilities to subordinates according to their abilities and skills.
Identify best practices in F&B, efficient changes, and new ideas in collaboration with the Hotel Manager
Participates in the financial, quality, and people objectives of the company and takes corrective action
when required.
Maintains records and prepares reports relating to results in accordance with company guidelines.
Promote FB sales and product development.

Your main qualifications/skills
At least three years of experience in a similar position in hotels.
Have a good knowledge of menus and presentation standards.
Creativity with a focus on offering high-quality services.
Pleasant personality with the ability to organize, motivate and inspire his/her team.
Good knowledge of at least one foreign language (English or German).
A second language (French, German, or Italian) will be considered a plus.
A degree in the hospitality field or related seminars is advantageous.
Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office and PMS.
Knowledge of calculating/managing statistics and fluency in creating and monitoring budgets.
