 α London Prom Concerts του BBC, στη σκηνή του Carnegie  Hall της Νέας Υόρκη
 ς, καθώς και σε πολλές άλλες σημαντικές σκηνές της Βόρειας Αμερικής, ενώ δε
 ν υπάρχει σχεδόν καμία ευρωπαϊκή χώρα που να μην έχει επισκεφτεί για να παί
 ξει.  Επίσης, έχει εμφανιστεί στην Κίνα, την Ιαπωνία, το Χονγκ Κονγκ, και ά
 λλες χώρες της Ασίας, καθώς και την Αυστραλία όπου μεγάλωσε.\n\n\n	O Piers 
 Lane λαμβάνει συνεχώς προσκλήσεις για να εμφανιστεί ως σολίστ σε όλο τον κό
 σμο, και έχει πάρει μέρος σε έναν μεγάλο αριθμό κονσέρτων και έργων σε συνε

 pices of the Municipality of Corfu. The two Patrons are Kostas Nikolouzos -
  Mayor of Corfu and Chrysanthos Sarlis - Co founder\n	 \n\n\n	Piers Lane AO
  came to Corfu over 20 years ago to play a concert for the Guilford Youth C
 entre. He stayed with local residents and met many people and absolutely fe
 ll in love with this wonderful island. He told me it has always been his dr
 eam to return when we were chatting last year. A week or so later he offere
 d to come for an all Chopin concert at a greatly reduced fee and for a holi
 day in wonderful places. He will be staying in the beautiful Casa Lucia for
  two nights then to the beautifully situated Corfu Palace Hotel for the res
 t of the week and we shall visit some of his old favorites and introduce hi
 m to gorgeous new places also local tavernas and cafes.  He will play the s
 ame programme for the famous Wigmore Hall in London just two weeks later.\n
 	 \n\n\n	He has just returned from an extensive tour of the west coast of t
 he USA and Arizona with many highly successful major concerts and then to M
 elbourne for two concerts of the Last Night of the Proms with the John Irel
 and concerto and the Victorian Symphony Orchestra. He is based in London an
 d plays all over the world. Five times soloist in the London Prom Concerts,
  many times in New York at Carnegie  Hall and all the major centres in Nort
 h America, almost all the countries in Europe as well as Japan, China, Hong
  Kong and more in Asia and he is in Australia several times a year. He is i
 n great demand as a soloist with a huge repertoire of concertos and plays w
 ith the most famous Orchestras. His recitals (as the one we shall hear) are
  always booked out well in advance and he plays a large number of chamber m
 usic concerts to great critical acclaim. He also has recorded over 60 cds! 
 It is hard to describe this  amazing musician but these quotes from The Tim
