Role Characteristics
Title: Spa Therapist
Position Code: ST-0423
Reporting to: Spa Manager
Employment Type: Full time / Seasonal
Work location: Corfu Island, Greece


Role responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

• Perform body massages, body & beauty treatments according to treatment menu to spa guests
• Ensure that preparation of products is done hygienically and according to recipes
• Ensures that Spa ambience set up is in accordance with departmental standards
• Ensure that every treatment is finished within allocated time
• Ensure that standard room set-up is always maintained
• Check that guest supplies are well maintained before servicing guests
• Check all linens and ceramics are in good condition before servicing guests
• Project a professional image and pleasant disposition always
• Ensure that all bottles (oil, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion) are washed regularly and the contents are fresh
• Ensure that guest comments or complaints are notified to Supervisor or Spa Manager immediately
• Ensure that wastage of cleaning materials is kept to a minimum & that all equipment is cleaned, maintained and handled in accordance with departmental standards

Role Requirements & Person Specification

• Have a minimum of 1 - 2 years related experience, ideally within a luxury, top niche organization
• Diploma/Certifications in Body & Facial Treatments
• Diploma/Certification in Massage Technique(s)
• Very good verbal English skills
• Ability to work as a team & work under pressure keeping high standards of service at all times
• Positive outgoing personality
